For that reason, 1000 Friends of Connecticut has invited Commissioner Smith from the Dept. of Economic and Community Development to close our Speaker Series and speak to issues surrounding sustainable economic development and the land-use decisions that will more effectively manage our state's historic sprawling growth patterns.
